Job Title: Customer Order Planner

 Mud Pie is seeking team oriented, well communicative and organized individuals to be part of our growing team. The Customer Order Planner coordinates EDI, International, Closeout and all orders requiring value added services through the order management and distribution process. They provide customer order related communication and order status updates to Sales and Operations. This individual is the key coordination point for customer required ticketing and materials, so the ability to problem solve, multi-task and have excellent follow-up is crucial in this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Key and Process Customer Orders requiring Valued added Services
  • Note and resolve schedule issues in Open Order and Back Order Reports
  • Communicate customer order details with sales and operations
  • Check product availability and communicate availability to sales
  • Evaluate ticket and supply needs to meet customer requirements. Order as needed and print non-proprietary ticketing as required
  • Maintain open communications with sales and operations through e-mail and phone
  • Coordinate workload to floor to meet customer commitments
  • Manage Closeout order activity
  • Coordinate new account set-up with sales
  • Review and document customer requirements provided through routing guides and compliance documentation
  • Review customer chargeback activity and adjust processes to minimize penalties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Highly proficient knowledge and experience in ERP systems.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in warehouse management systems and inventory processes

Job Title: Credit Analyst

Mud Pie is currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join our rapidly growing team. The Credit Analyst is responsible for the evaluation and extension of credit to customers. They will collect receivables, monitor risk and make recommendations regarding risk reduction strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts within assigned portfolio by engaging in phone calls and/or emails. This includes negotiating payment arrangements as well as building relationships with customers in order to understand their needs and issues.
  • Identify problem accounts, write-offs, and related adjustments and work until resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments internally to resolve issues, improve processes, and manage customer accounts in order to expedite collections from customers in assigned portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with the business operations team on customer billing issues including: contract related questions, adjustments, pricing, disputes, returns and other miscellaneous questions.
  • Communicate with all levels of the sales team regarding delinquent accounts, invoicing and/or contract questions until resolution is achieved.
  • Utilize and interpret credit reports, financial statements and related information to determine appropriate credit limits for new and existing customers. Analyzes, assesses and reports on risk of potential new accounts and makes recommendations to management regarding risk reduction strategies and alternative financing methodologies.
  • Maintain compliance with required internal controls and departmental procedures.
  • Assist with training and mentoring as requested by direct manager and management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting preferred OR 2+ years Credit, Collections and/or A/R experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Job Title: Kids Designer

Mud Pie is actively seeking a Kids Designer to join our National Accounts team! We are searching for experienced apparel designers with knowledge and exposure of the infant/toddler industry. Candidates must have 1 – 3 years of previous or relevant experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experience in apparel design, preferably baby or toddler
  • Understanding and knowledge of fabrics and apparel construction
  • Experience in gift/hard good design
  • Capability to work/collaborate and lead a small team
  • Ability to recognize and analyze trends
  • Must be comfortable communicating with overseas vendors
  • Group presentation skills including oral delivery and product walk-throughs
  • Ability to multi-task with exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience with in-line and private label design
  • Execution of designs with overseas vendors through an outlined sampling and development process
  • Collaboration with Technical Designer in creation of apparel tech packs
  • Approvals for all design and production submits
  • Support development team and sales team by preparing necessary visual tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design or related field
  • 1 – 3 years in a fashion design role
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent organization and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain and build relationships with overseas vendors
  • High level of creativity paired with strong understanding of the Mud Pie aesthetic

Job Title: Customer Relations Specialist

Mud Pie is hiring enthusiastic, positive and motivated individuals to join our Customer Care team. This role is the perfect opportunity for entry level candidates to learn the industry and have ample opportunity to grow within the company!  The Customer Relations Specialist will support the sales team and work directly with buyers at specialty retail stores nationwide.  They will handle incoming/outgoing calls and emails, manage inquiries and resolve concerns as well as upsell products to promote the sales of Mud Pie merchandise. Some administrative projects may be assigned on an as needed basis. It is imperative that the Customer Relations Specialist possess strong communication skills, has an eagerness to learn and is team-oriented, so if this sounds like the perfect position for you, we’d love to hear from you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in small call center setting handling incoming calls and emails from customers and sales organization
  • Learn new product lines each season to be able to promote sales and respond to inquiries
  • Handle administrative tasks associated with orders, including order input into customized software system
  • Open accounts and maintain customer records
  • Initiate outbound sales and customer service calls and emails
  • Proactively generate sales and upsell products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Territory Managers as well as buyers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 2 years equivalent work experience in a call center, customer service, marketing or sales position

Mud Pie is currently seeking a Product Designer to join our HOME team! Our Home department includes everything from table tops, ceramics, home décor, soft goods and more. We are looking for artistic individuals with a passion for creative excellence to design and deliver quality products. The Product Designer will work collaboratively with team members to gather on trend market data, develop original design concepts that coincide with the Mud Pie aesthetic, and turn visions into end products. The ideal candidate must be creative, a team player, have keen attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task under deadline pressure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with current color, font and print trends and style
  • Ability and desire to continually gather market data on key fashion and home      trends
  • Translate trends into concepts that fit the Mud Pie brand
  • Strong creative vision including style, color and pattern direction
  • Versatility and resourcefulness  in design styles and techniques
