Job Title: Showroom Manager

Mud Pie is Seeking a Showroom Manager to join our Merchandise team to assist with daily operations of our 18,000 square foot Atlanta showroom as well as setup and operations during Atlanta shows. The ideal candidate must be self-drivern, customer service oriented with sales experience as well as experience managing showrooms. The individual will work closely with our Director of Merchandise and the Merchandise Team. Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily Showroom Responsibilities
    • Typical hours: Tuesday – Friday; 10am – 4pm
    • Assist customer service or sales team with projects as needed
    • Maintain showroom inventory/samples
    • Answer customer service question
    • Walk-in customer sales
    • Maintain showroom cleanliness
    • Work with Director of merchandising on showroom projects as needed
    • Maintaining the Mud Pie reputation for a warm space known for our gracious hospitality

 

  • Showtime setup

    • Assist with facilitating twice yearly sample sale
    • Assist with managing showroom prep team to dismantle the showroom

  • Showtime Operations
    • Work days/hours based on need
    • Hire, train, schedule hospitality team
    • Order, and maintain hospitality supplies, snacks, beverages
    • Coordinate with, and schedule cleaning crew
    • Coordinate with kitchen staff for planning and execution of guest and staff meals
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute events

Requirements:

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in retail management, marketing or a related field, strong analytical thinking skills and highly detail and self driven. It is required that applicants have experience managing a showroom along with sales experience.

Job Title: Ecommerce Business Manager

Mud Pie is seeking a data-driven and detail oriented individual to join our National Accounts team to focus on increasing sales and margin with our Ecommerce Retailers including Amazon. The ideal candidate must be committed to high standards and be proficient in Excel and other data platforms. This individual will work closely with National Account Managers to support retailer item setup, web presence and forecasting needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete all new item set ups for Amazon and other web based retailers
  • Complete Amazon POS on a weekly basis and review and identify trends and opportunities for incremental sales.    
  • Work within Amazon internal portal to troubleshoot and grow business                       
  • Review Amazon and other ecomm sites regularly and optimize the listings for better selling   
  • Manage all aspects of assigned ecomm accounts including:
    • Develop strong customer relationships
    • Negotiate and manage pricing and vendor term agreements
    • Negotiate markdowns, vendor allowances and other requested contributions
    • Review weekly POS and identify trends and opportunities for incremental sales

Job Title: Facilities Manager

Mud Pie is currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join our Distribution Management team. This individual will play a vital role in the distribution center and report directly to the VP of Operations. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Mud Pie’s equipment, conveyors, building and grounds to minimize interruptions in daily operations and ensure employee safety. We are seeking individuals to drive process improvements and have the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth.  Our ideal candidate must be resilient, a focused problem solver and self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a complex environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance:
    • Provide equipment, conveyors, vehicles, buildings, company grounds and general maintenance service as needed
    • Tour warehouse on a regular basis to ensure buildings and equipment are safe and ready to operate
    • Make recommendations to senior management on programs to improve the maintenance function
    • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities that will minimize disruptions in warehouse operations and ensure the maximum useful life of the equipmen
    • Monitor all materials handling equipment (MHE) maintenance activities, making sure that all equipment is serviced as require

 

  • Safety, Sanitation, Security:
    • Enforce established safety, health, stock rotation, contamination and housekeeping policies and procedures to minimize staff injuries, lost production time, damage and contamination of product
    • Monitor security systems and enforce security policies and procedures adhering to all state, federal and company requirements
    • Communicate with trash hauling and salvage companies to ensure that services are provided.
    • Operate in accordance with OSHA and other applicable standards

 

  • Labor Management:
    • Direct the operations of the maintenance work team to achieve prescribed objectives
    • In collaboration with HR, maintain a productive work team by creating programs for hiring, training and professional development
    • Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, coaching and disciplining associates.
    • Monitor performance to recommend promotions, wage increases and termination

 

  • Documentation/Reporting:
    • Track building and equipment repair and monitoring preventive maintenance programs.
    • Responsible for department budget and controlling expense

 

  • Purchasing:
    • Purchase parts, supplies, and fuel necessary to perform required maintenance. Maintain a cost-effective parts replacement program and inventory.
    • Negotiate, follow up and enforce any maintenance contracts with outside vendors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Mechanical Engineering major preferred) or experience equivalent
  • 10-15 years of related industry experience
  • Experience with WMS Systems
  • Possess strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Possess warehouse-related knowledge of equipment and buildings
  • Must be resilient, focused problem solver and self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a complex environment
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Supervisory experience in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment required

This role is the perfect opportunity for entry level candidates to learn the industry and have ample opportunity to grow within the company!  The Customer Relations Specialist will support the sales team and work directly with buyers at specialty retail stores nationwide.  They will handle incoming/outgoing calls and emails, manage inquiries and resolve concerns as well as upsell products to promote the sales of Mud Pie merchandise. Some administrative projects may be assigned on an as needed basis.   • Participate in small call center setting handling incoming calls and emails from customers and sales organization
  • Learn new product lines each season to be able to promote sales and respond to inquiries
  • Handle administrative tasks associated with orders, including order input into customized software system

  • Initiate outbound sales and customer service calls and emails
  • Proactively generate sales and upsell products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Territory Managers as well as buyers
